What to Eat as A Picky Eater On A Diet

Let me just start by saying that if I don't know what an ingredient is, chances are I'm not going to make a recipe using the ingredient (Spices are an exception since we got a spice rack as a wedding gift). The only spices my mama uses till this day are salt and pepper.

I always grew up eating supper, as we say in the south, around 4:30 pm when my brother and I got home from school. My mom was a stay at home mom and she would have our food for us as soon as we got off the bus. As I went away to college, I soon realized how amazing a home cooked meal is. (It's funny how college changes your perception on life.)

 I use to stick my nose up and complain about things mom fixed until I realized all the hard work and time put into making a homemade meal.

 Today my parents were in town and I fixed Filly Cheeses Steak Stuffed Green Peppers with brown rice. I got the stuffed peppers recipe from this blog
and the brown rice recipe is so easy and good! 

HOW TO MAKE

Brown Rice 1 cup rice 1/2 a stick of butter beef consume beef broth Bake on 350 for 60 minutes

Directions: Preheat oven to 350 Melt a 1/2 stick of butter in a pan on the stove top Pour in 1 cup of rice Stir together, let simmer for a minute Pour rice into baking dish Stir in 1 can of Beef Consume and 1 Can of Beef Broth Stir together
