The Poisonous Peanuts
Well, here they come.
We knew it wouldn't be long before these cowards came rushing onto our shores, hoping they could use our land as a safe haven.Instead of being real men and fighting back, these spineless creatures have slithered their way to Cuba, and are knocking on the door of the U.S.
Hell, even Cuba is getting anxious with all of these refugees seeking shelter within their borders. Shouldn't that tell you something?
So I may sound a little harsh. Of the thousands that have applied for visas to enter the states, it's likely that not all of them are bad. But is it worth the risk?
By now you know the theory. If I offered you a bag of peanuts and told you 10% of them were poisonous, would you grab a handful? If you grab ten, statistically speaking you will die.
Not worth the risk, right?
It's so simple. Look at where these people are coming from. The evil that is spreading throughout their homeland is not mitigated evil. It's flat-out hell on earth.
We know the enemy will try anything to sneak into our borders, and that some may already be living among us. We have been so weak with our defense, that we are now vulnerable to being attacked by these ruthless foreigners.
Don't let them fool you.
Even the American Ambassador to Cuba said. "Among the so-called refugees in our country is a fair number who can be depended upon to act as agents of their government and who will violate in any way the hospitality which they are enjoying among us."
Of course they will!!!!
We're nice enough to let them into our great nation, take advantage of our benefits, and they will repay us with a quick, swift, punch in the teeth.
Of course, there are those that think we have a responsibility, an obligation if you will, to just open the gates. Let them all in...and hope nothing terrible happens.
People have told me several times since I began campaigning against allowing these "refugees" into our country that "Many of them are just children." Or, "They need our help." And even "It's the Christian thing to do."
Right, the Christian thing to do is let a bunch of people who deny Christ as their savior to come over here and wage war.
The wealthier ones are even trying to beat the system. Seems a little shady, does it not?
Well, meet Otto Frank. A German-born business man, who is is trying everything he can to bring his family here.
A guy who has remaining close relatives in Germany, is desperately trying to get into the United States!
Wake up people!
It's 1941, the German Third Reich is attempting to take over the world, and you better believe they will use "refugees" as a way of spying into the U.S.
Mr. Frank may not be one of the bad peanuts, but I think I speak for all of us here in this great nation under God, that we would rather live to find out.
UPDATE: So, I was wrong about the Jewish people who were being put into death camps by the Nazi war criminals. Otto Frank, I am a big enough man to admit that I was wrong. I can't even begin to explain the amount of guilt I feel for being one of those who supported denying you're family safety.
By now we've all heard your wife starved at the Bergen-Belsen Concentration Camp. You're daughters passed away there as well from typhus. You're 15-year-old, Anne, seemed so wise beyond her years. Her diary was found. In that diary she left us with a quote that I am sure will transcend generations:

We abandoned you, your wife, Anne and her sister out of a fear which wasn't real. The fear you and your family felt was. We could have saved them. We could have saved so many.
My only hope is, the next time we are given an opportunity to help those in need, that we do not let fear stand in the way of doing what is right. And if this nation is as great as I know it is, we will learn from our mistakes. We will learn to be better understanding, and to truly be a Christian nation.
One Nation, Under God.
A nation that accepts all of God's children.

"It's a wonder I haven’t abandoned all my ideals, they seem so absurd and impractical. Yet I cling to them because I still believe, in spite of everything, that people are truly good at heart."For a fifteen year old, going through what she was going through, I must say, we missed out on having a very intelligent young woman be a part of our nation. However, her optimism, while it's something I envy, is just not realistic. We (people) are mostly selfish. True altruism, has not, does not, and will not exist. To say we are good at heart is giving us, not only too much credit, but is enabling us to continue to treat our neighbors despicably as long as we can create a good enough reason to do it.
